Word is, Brock lesnar may be Coutures opponent if he does come back. That's pretty much the biggest heavyweight showdown the UFC could put on. Bigger than Couture vs Big Nog. And, it would be a bit of a proving match for both. If Couture wins, he can handle that monster, he can hang with Fedor. A Couture win would only add to hype for the Couture vs Fedor. If Lesnar were to win, his doubters would most definitely have to shut their mouths, and would vault his career into legitimate MMA superstar status. I hope it happens, if nothing else, to end the legal crap withh Couture and get him fighting again.

enl35794 you have me drooling and the idea of a Lesnar vs Couture match. I've learned to NEVER count out The Natural but I think Brock might just well be the beast that Couture might not be able to tame. Of course, I thought he'd have trouble with Sylvia and Gonzaga. But Lesnar is a monster and those oversized sledgehammers attached to his wrists are deadly. One of those to the head and its lights out for Randy. I think Lesnar's wrestling background could be an equalizer in this matchup. It certainly would be a fun fight to watch. My gut and heart tell me Randy would win but my common sense tells me Lesnar might just put a hole in his head.

I think that Randy will be able to avoid the big punches and get inside like he did to Sylvia. They say that Lesner has a week chin. We would see.

Brock hits hard, but cant figure out what to do next. Three rounds with Heath. What a joke. He needs to learn how to fight. Couure would make him look like a fool in the ring.

Brock would make Randy fight the WRONG fight, and Randy would get CRUSHED. Think this one through....styles make fights, and Randy has a hard time with big boys that WONT let him impose his will on coughSILVIAcough.

My first thought when I saw Lesnar entered the UFC was that he was going to be a complete joke. Needless to say, I take it back. Granted, he was fighting Herring, who is considered to be "middle of the road" amongst the HW's (nothing to take away from him --- that dude is a warrior that will fight whomever he's asked to fight). When I saw the Lesnar/Herring fight, it was honestly the first time I had ever seen a guy of that size (Lesnar) move so fast. He's not a big, slow guy....he's a huge fighter with some surprising speed and seems to be light on his feet, which may pose a pretty big threat to Randy. My guess is that if Randy can keep this fight standing up, then land a good shot hard enough to knock down Lesnar, then he'll take this fight via GNP and ref stoppage. It's hard to predict anything, because we all still know very little about Lesnar.....

Randy can't hang with Fedor, at all. He is good for MMA and going back to the UFC is an necessary evil. I wouldn't think Randy would take on Brock. He wants a fight he can win so that his status is still there when he loses to Fedor. With a loss, Fedor won't wait anymore.
